The place is good for children where they can buy kites and plastic toys to play. Mean while there are many food stalls selling short eats, fruit juices and soft drinks. Specially they sell sea food like crab vadai, shrimp vadai, aldive fish vadai and so on. In the night this place is popular for its Kothu rotties served hot with spicy foods.
Swimming is not recommended in this area. Although there are lot of people used to go down in to the sea where there is narrow strip of beach available.
